Antiantiquario, antique art, antique furniture
Since 1978 Paola Giacosa has been working with restoration of antiques. First studying it then as assistant in a prestigious Florentine studio to come afterwards in entrepreneurship founding the Antiantiquario in the year 2000.
The activity has been widened placing beside the active restoration work the production of furniture, wood panelling, furnishings and fittings, wooden chandeliers, varnished and decorated doors and painted wooden ceilings.
The Antiantiquario does not make use of modern technologies. Every work is handmade. The Antiantiquario does not make use of chemicals of today, its reinforcements, pigments and glue are those which were in use in the great Italian artistic tradition period from Renaissance until the Age of Enlightenment.
